On the 30th of July, we were awarded £25,000 thanks to funding raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
This funding will help tackle inequalities in the West London community, specifically in Hounslow, Ealing, and Hammersmith & Fulham.
The funds will be distributed across our six programmes, supporting staffing, locations, and various sporting and social activities.
Additionally, it will provide more children with equipment such as footballs, basketballs, board games, and painting supplies at the new Youth Club opening at Dukes Meadows.
Rodgers Orero, Chief Executive Officer of RDN, said: “We are thrilled to receive support from players of People’s Postcode Lottery. This funding will enable us to provide social, health, and personal assistance to marginalised and excluded older individuals from ethnically diverse communities.”
The funding was awarded through Postcode Society Trust, which supports charities and local groups making a difference in their communities, for the benefit of people and the planet.
To date, players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £1.3 billion for thousands of charities and local good causes.
